Port Siren

Port Siren is a Kodoku-Class Mining and Processing Facility that was built and activated in YE 35. It is located in the Siren System. It was originally built under the corporate banner of Motoyoshi Hanei Kaisha, but was transitioned with all of their assets to the Yugumo Corporation in YE 41.

The following is the history of Port Siren.

• Port Siren was designed in YE 34, it was built and activated in YE 35 when it was positioned in the Siren System.
• It is positioned close to the Akuma Asteroid Belt, but processes materials mined across the Yugumo Cluster.
• Port Siren provided war critical supplies to Yugumo Corporation, for the re-establishment of the First Expeditionary Fleet, during the Kuvexian War.

Port Siren has been mentioned many times in roleplay:

• Port Siren was mentioned in Resolutions of The Ghost: Episode 3 - Forty-Two as one of the major revenue streams of the Yugumo Corporation. It was also mentioned that the station provided employment for millions in the Yugumo Cluster.
• The station was mentioned again in the Secure Line Communications between the First Expeditionary Fleet, Yugumo Corporation, and Ketsurui Fleet Yards during the re-establishment of the fleet.
• In an expansion of the PAINT system here.
• In communications between Yugumo Corporation and Tamahagane Corporation regarding the construction of the planned Port Jiyuu, in this thread.
• It was mentioned in a non-canon post connected to the character Komatsu Elena.

The Headquarters for the Yugumo Workers Federation is located in Green Sector.

The Yugumo Workers Federation is an association of workers and their families in the Yugumo Cluster and Outer Colonies of the Yamatai Star Empire that was formed in YE 41. It is an organization that assists workers through the contract process with Yugumo Corporation and represents the workers and their families promoting better living conditions and safe working environments in the resource sector of the region's industry.

Port Siren is connected to the rest of the Yamatai Star Empire by PAINT.
