Special Hoverboard designs which began in late YE 44 to early YE 45 designed by Yugumo Corporation to assist Motoyoshi-Igarashi Yue
Hoverboards like their mundane low-tech cousins are made roughly the same way each time they are made. So differentiating between which is owned by whom, decals or designs were created. Of course, due to the technology that causes the Hoverboards to hover, and because of environmental effects, these designs are usually underneath the transparent laminate to protect them from harm.
After Yue first designed and created the Hoverboards, she and her aunt Katsuko later took them for a spin in a prompt race that also served as a demonstration of the new Hoverboards. Realizing that the need to tell the boards apart, she got ideas for designs from her close family members, and had the new boards made to their design in mind.
The design appearance of the Hoverboard decals varies between owners in both coloring and the picture it might have. Those in the NDC might prefer red and black, as that’s their nation’s colors, while those in Nepleslia might prefer green. The list varies depending on the person or nation, and what they want.
Types of Design Text The Hoverboard Designs can be split into three specific types.
As part of its design, the metal of the board can be a variety of colors. It is also possible that the metal be left ordinary and the lighting effect is the only thing that has color added as well. While the board can have actual artwork added to it, there is a choice of no art too.
Katsuko’s board is designed with the Motoyoshi Matriarch’s colors in mind. Her board still follows the same appearance as the others though her board is uniquely hers.
Yue on the other hand, chose a blue shiny, almost metallic look to cover her board. It meshes with her skin, and may cause some to think that she and the board were one.
Those a part of a professional team can have their team's colors be on the board if so desired.

On winning certain Midnight Infinity contest, the winner will receive an autographed hoverboard though the autograph is likely to be carefully added so it didn’t detract from the overall appearance.
Teams or Athletes can add sponsor ads to the boards so that when they do crazy tricks that allow viewers and spectators can see this being shown. So long as their sponsor is a good productive member of the society of course.
Much like their uniforms, Hoverboards can also be set to team colors, and can have the team logo on them if so desired to further team spirit.
