The Keg'sta Heat Management Device was developed to replace the Keg'sta Mitigation System that was first deployed on the V.9 Krysis Crixa Power Armor that was built by the Myrmidon Corporation in YE 30. With successful deployment on the power armor and other naval assets, the device under went modifications and improvements every few years. In YE 44, the Lo'ken Institute developed a version of the device which has been utilized by the Star Army of Yamatai in their Ke-M2-4 Series "Mindy" Armor and the Yu-M1-2B Series "Molly" Light Mechanized Power Armor. The current design was designed and manufactured by Lux Aurora in YE 46.
The updated version of the Keg'sta Heat Management Device was designed to work in-line with the Kena-rsi Dimensional Tap Reactors. It is a straightforward piece of technology designed to work with the existing infrastructure of Aether devices and other subsystems. Its primary function is to manage the heat generated by Aether plasma and other sources. Instead of solely relying on traditional cooling systems or venting waste heat into space, the device employs a dimensional tap to redirect collected system heat. In the latest version of the device, it can also be used to return excess asune/aether plasma to the dimension that their reactor taps improving reactor control protocols.
Heat is gathered through a network of tubes and heat sinks, then funneled through the Kena-rsi Dimensional Tap Reactors and into the Aether dimension. While this doesn't eliminate heat signatures from components like sub-light engines, it significantly reduces the overall waste heat profile of the craft.
Parts:
The Keg'sta has a monthly and fifty year training cycle which coincides with the maintenance of the ship's Kena-rsi Dimensional Tap Reactors. Every month the system's interior is cleaned to remove carbon build up and debris that can sometimes build up in the system from plasma interaction with the unit's lining. Every fifty years the system should be overhauled and rebuilt.
The Keg'sta Heat Management device has a compact, cylindrical structure with a Niranium (Reinforced) finish, blending sleek design with functional engineering. Its surface features glowing blue energy conduits for active energy and plasma transfer from the ship's cooling systems and the Kena-rsi Dimensional Tap Reactors.
