Build and Skin Color: Like most Nekovalkyrja, Buki has an hourglass figure. However, she is sturdily built and fairly muscular for a Nekovalkyrja, as she was trained to be planetary infantry; due to this, she quite frequently looks as though she belongs on a battlefield. She has golden-brown skin.

Eyes and Facial Features: Buki's almond-shaped bright green eyes peer out through long black eyelashes; her eyes are set close to her short button nose. Her mouth is full, with a pronounced Cupid's bow on her upper lip. Much to her disappointment, she has a heart-shaped face, which only serves to get the Nekovalkyrja called “cute” instead of intimidating.

Ears: Buki has two small, black-furred cat-like ears on the sides of her head.

Hair Color and Style: Her waist-length straight hair is perhaps her only vanity, worn in a black braid that she wraps around her head to fit it into her helmet.

Distinguishing Features:

Personality: Prone to spend hours of her free time scouring over books of military history and tactics or pushing herself to train, Kuromimi Buki at first appears solely focused on her role as a planetary infantrywoman. She rarely tolerates frivolous impulses in herself or others, despite her one vanity being her waist-length black hair which she braids and then wraps around her head; despite her hair being irritating, she hasn't cut it off yet. The young Nekovalkyrja tends to be practical above all else, eschewing personal possessions beyond her books. Like all members of her species, Buki is brave; her somewhat morbid view is that if she dies in battle, that will be an honorable death, and she thus has no reservations about charging into battle. She dislikes being flirted with, feeling as though her “cute” physical features mean nothing compared to her skills as an infantrywoman. Buki devotes herself to training primarily because she gets bored if she doesn't have a task to focus on; she has been known to miss meals and not even realize about it. If given a task, she focuses on it almost to the exclusion of all else.

Buki was created by the Star Army of Yamatai.

After she was created, the Star Army of Yamatai gave Buki her three-year enlistment contract. She was then programmed and sent to thirty days of socialization training and testing. During this time, the young Nekovalkyrja discovered a love of reading military history, though she wasn't much of a tactician. She grew angry when others interrupted her from her reading, even getting into a fight when her book was snatched out of her hands. After the socialization training, she then proceeded to learn the SPINE interface and the three phases of what she considered her actual military training. As her psychological profile had indicated she would be best suited in the infantry, Buki was given three additional months of training to become a member of the Star Army's planetary infantry. She has not received her first official post yet.
