Empress Himiko I

Officially referred to as “Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Himiko I of Yamatai,” Ketsurui Himiko is the Empress of the Yamatai Star Empire. Her reign began in March YE 30, when Former Empress Yui chose her when instructed to by Empress Katsuko to find a successor. She is the protégé of two-term Emperor Uesu.

Himiko is a quiet, reclusive ruler once described by Uesu as “a very strong-willed girl with grand dreams and talented insight…instilled [with] all the makings of a war-time leader.”

Himiko has long black hair and crimson eyes.

• The Empress should work in the interests of the people of Yamatai.
• People should be served by wealth, not ruled by the wealthy.
• Stability of the Empire should be enforced, not assumed.

Himiko wants…

• to make Yamatai respected in positive ways rather than just feared.
  • Fostering good relations with other nations.
  • Using diplomacy rather than conflict when possible.
• to extensively develop and consolidate Yamatai's existing infrastructure.
  • Promoting civilian commerce.
  • Reducing the reliance on the military as a primary source of jobs.

• Created and signed the YSE/ECE Treaty of YE 30 and later oversaw the return of Elysia to the Yamatai Star Empire in YE 31.

• Ordered the construction of H Bunkers hidden throughout the empire.
• Oversaw the creation of the Scientific Studies Service (SSS)
