Half-Nepleslian Half-ID-SOL, he carries his Father's immense height, standing 2.6 meters tall, he is tall even by ID-Sol standards. However, unlike his father, he is wiry and lanky with long arms and legs that somehow make him seem even taller. He has dark skin, black hair. The left side of his head, right leg, left eye, and left arm are cybernetic. He often carries a cane, even though he never needs it to walk.

Ajit Lysander was born in YE 20 on Planet Nepleslia. He was always the tall one, even among other children who had ID-Sol heritage. He doesn't have a good relationship with his father, and joined the Marines originally to prove himself. Even as a young man he was a leader, running a small gang of ruffians who joined the Nepleslian military with him. He lost his right leg in combat, getting it replaced with a cybernetic. He used a cane and enjoyed carrying one. However, his skill at leadership and intuitive grasp of Starship tactics led him to the Navy. In the aftermath of an attack on Kuvexian shipping, he was involved in rescuing Separa'Shan slaves. He would maintain correspondence and eventually get married to Lyric. Lyric is the Chief Medical officer on the Invictus. He was Vice Captain on the NSS Invictus during the Battle Of Glimmergold. After the captain was killed he assumed command and was made Captain after the battle.
