The MT-J1-G3500 Class-2 Navitium Power Cell is an advanced electrical storage medium designed as an energy supply system for various kinds of larger varieties of micro-machines, cybernetic implants and similarly scaled devices. They are manufactured by Murasaki Technologies and first became available for purchase in YE 36.
The MT-J1-G3500 Class-2 Navitium Power Cell is a small, vaguely cylindrical energy capacitor that is primarily silver in coloration. The interior of the cell makes use of navitium-based superconducting magnetic energy storage technology to store a fair amount of electrical energy for an effectively unlimited time period.
In addition, the power cells interior includes a small broadcast power receiver which allows the device to be recharged remotely by a broadcast power field array, a combined field system (CFS) or similarly compatible energy field projection technology.
The MT-J1-G3500 Class-2 Navitium Power Cell was designed to be used predominantly in small insect-sized robots, neural implants and other similarly tiny devices and pieces of technology.
Navitium-based power cells can potentially become unstable when subjected to extreme amounts of certain kinds of electromagnetic radiation; individuals utilizing these power cells inside implants should take care as severe exposure can cause the power cell to improperly function or even explode (Tier 1, Light Anti-Personnel and miniscule radiation poisoning).
