Transuniversal Ops Award

The Transuniversal Ops Award is a military award of the Star Army of Yamatai.

Created in YE 46, the Transuniversal Ops award exists to recognize the extraordinary service of Star Army soldiers whose missions take them to other universes. Previously, personnel who'd participated in such operations were granted the Secret Ops Award. The Transuniversal Ops Award can be issued to soldiers who took part in missions to another universe prior to the award's creation.

The requirements to receive this awards are:

• Must be a member of the Star Army of Yamatai
• Must have traveled to another universe while undertaking a Star Army operation

The award is issued by:

• Star Army Starship Captain or Unit commander in charge of a Transuniversal Operation
• Star Army Personnel Command

The award is a black ribbon with thick red stripes on each end. Its appearance is based on the Secret Ops Award.

It is worn on the Type 35 Class A formal uniform. Like the Secret Ops Award, the Transuniversal Ops Award is traditionally not displayed alongside other ribbons because of the secret nature of missions undertaken to earn it, as well as the publicly unverified nature of alternate universes.
