Shugosha III is the third planet in the Shugosha System; it is part of the Yamatai Star Empire.
A rocky desolate planet with a thin unbreathable atmosphere, Shugosha III is uninhabited and as of yet, undeveloped. Plans to develop Shugosha III are in the early stages, but Yugumo Corporation has given priority to the similar, but somewhat less hostile and already partially developed Shugosha II.

Like most of the planets in the Shugosha System, Shugosha III bears the remains of the Second Mishhuvurthyar War. The NMX attempted to use the planet to establish a forward operating base to attack the developed inner planets. Largely left intact when the Mishhuvurthyar retreated from the system, only a few structures were built, and only a few of those sustained damage during the fighting.
The Star Army of Yamatai established a "Guriddo" Defense System as part of the Shugosha System Defense Plan laid out by Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko in YE 42. The system includes:
