Steiner Era Uniforms

Part of the re-establishment of the Iron Company was the design of new uniforms. These would become known as the Steiner Era Uniform. They became available in YE 45.

History and Background

In YE 44, Tacho made mention of the rather dismal discomfort of the previously issued Iron Company Standard Uniform to Albert Steiner. Albert Steiner not really paying attention to the “Cultural Exchange Bitch” agreed to the production of a new set of uniforms for the Iron Company. The uniforms were made at the end of YE 44 and entered service at the start of YE 45.

Tacho on the new Steiner Era Uniforms, for Knuckleheads
“I've achieved something no one else could do. I've managed to make knuckleheads resemble a form of decently dressed soldiers. If only I could transform them into gentlemen, then again we're talking about a group of men who purposely turn their bunks into fart hot-boxes.”

The main Iron Company patch is located on the upper right arm. Unit badges are on the left arm. Name tags are on the left panel of the uniform jacket along with the Iron Company pins commemorating its re-establishment in YE 44. The right panel is where the Iron Company medals are displayed. The jacket has two upper pockets and two lower pockets which are held closed by functional buttons with the Iron Company silver star embossed upon their surface.

Officers wear a matching officer's hat with the uniform. Soldiers wear a soldier's field cap.
