Shayna Reis

Shayna Reis is a player character played by west¹⁾ and is currently involved in the ECS Civetta di Cielo plot.

Build and Skin Colour: Shayna has the typical small, but slightly muscular frame of a military woman, with a chalk white skin color. Her wings are noticeably smaller than they should be, even for a Plebeian.

Facial Features and Eye Colour: She has a somewhat rounded, oval-shaped face, that is rather plain and forgettable. Even her eyes are rather common, being a azure blue that is a trait she shares with numerous other people.

Hair Colour and Style: Her hair is a brassy reddish brown, which is as straight as a board when left to fall about her shoulders. However, this is counter-acted by the fact that she normally keeps it in a tight, professional bun.

Distinguishing Features: There is nothing particularly special about Shayna other than her somewhat rare brassy hair.

Personality: Shayna Reis is a somewhat well-adjusted teenager, who is, in the most basic of terms, random. While on duty, she manages to keep her eccentric ways under lock and key, maintaining a very professional sense of quiet dignity. That being said, she is prone to somewhat humorous outbursts (for others) when any piece of technology she uses malfunctions (beyond her repair). Off duty, she tends to be more talkative, somewhat quirky, and she has been known to burst into song during particularly stressful situations, as is her coping method.

Likes: Realita, Vortice, Reading, New/Upgraded Technology, Singing Dislikes: Burrattino, Lethal Force, System Malfunctions Goals: Like many Plebians, she aspires to be a Patrician one day. As well as a deeper hope of finding love, though she tends not to voice that particular aspiration.

Shayna Reis was born to a pair of low-class nobodies whom were of little importance to anyone. In fact, following a questionable incident which was written off as an accident, her parents were believed to have been ended, leaving an infant Shayna in the custody of a state-run orphanage. As a result of spending over a decade and a half of living as a burden of the state, the young girl aspired to serving in the military in order to attempt to help the system which helped her in her greatest time of need. In order to fulfill this aspiration, Shayna applied herself to an occupation in which would exemplify her best talent, which was her understanding of foreign languages, the only real option being a Communications Specialist.

This is her particular speciality. Shayna is extensively familiar with radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Shayna is fluent in Seraph, Nepleslian, and Yamataian. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.

She received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Elysia-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and Hikael power armor. Shayna prefers using a Sersis Variable Pistol with the 2 x 6 mm. rounds due to her preference of non-lethal combat.

Shayna is capable of operating any Elysian computer system. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.

She has received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry.

With her particularly strong grasp of geometry, trigonometry and a splash of architectual insight, Shayna is more than capable of constructing an effective shelter in a survival situation.

Shayna has an extraordinary photographic memory, and is capable of accessing information she hasn't reviewed in over a year at a moment's notice. This even applies itself in noticing certain behavioral observations, as she would be able to recall changes someone has undergone over a long period of time.

Used primarily as a coping mechanism, Shayna is still a rather skilled in the ways of vocal music. Not many people are aware of this particular gift, unless they have seen her under a good deal of stress, when she tends to sing as opposed to lashing out at someone.

Shayna Reis is currently a Tironi in the Elysian Celestial Navy. She receives a weekly salary of -salary- per week.
