Like her batch-sister, Hanna Madsen, Janna Madsen has a compact frame and a highly feminine figure. However, her figure is more plump and matronly than that of her sister’s. Janna has dark brown skin with golden undertones, and natural one-toned cyan hair. She wears her hair(style reference) long, and with two pigtail buns that sit on the top of her head. Her eyebrows have a subtle arch and are of medium thickness. Janna has proportionally large eyes with pink irises. Like Hanna, she also has a small rounded nose and full lips. Her facial profile is round, on account of her curved jawline and chubby cheeks.

She has a bushy cyan tail, which resembles the tail of a fox, although it has an even cyan color throughout. Janna also has Neko-style ears, which are thickly filled and lined with cyan fur, both inside and out.

Janna is an allocentric and reflective Neko. She is a frequent daydreamer, however, this tendency is often overshadowed by her passion for her occupation: cooking. While Janna has burned herself many times, she enjoys experimenting with dishes and recipes. Janna quite easily returns the trust delivered to her by those who eat her food. She is also very trusting of her superior officers, regardless of race or beliefs. She is somewhat prone to becoming attached to her superior officers and those whom she views as better than herself.

Janna was created in Kyoto on Yamatai in YE 38. She underwent socialization training at Fort Victory. Nothing of note occurred during her socialization and basic training. However, she grew extremely close to her batch-sisters.

After she underwent specialization training as a cook, Janna was assigned to work as a cook in Fort Victory before she was assigned to the YSS Kaiyo.

In YE 43, she was assigned to the Central Fleet Depot as a reservist and promoted to Ittô Hei.
