Savitar Ananta

Savitar Ananta is a player character played by Tyler and is currently involved in the plot.

Height: 6'4” - 193cm Mass: 170 lbs - 77kg

Build and Skin Color: Savitar comes equipped with a rough, tough muscled and athletic build. In a happy spot just between both extremes of either. His skin tone is a Golden-brown color. He has defined, lean hard muscles and a noticable 8-pack.

Facial Features and Eye Color: He has a chiseled and ruggedly handsome face that always seems to have 1-2 days stubble but nothing past that. Savitar has playfully confident purple eyes with a narrow ring of defined blue around the outer rim of the iris

Hair Color and Style: Savi's hair style reminds anyone of a saw blade almost, short and curved back with some bangs, it's a tawny sand-tan color.

Distinguishing Features: He has luminescent eyes, short, smooth horns that arch in a manner similar to a gazelle and a number of bony plates at locations over most of the body. But his are purposefully cut shorter and kept there, and are unusually straight.

Personality: Savitar is a rebel; he got bored of the spiritual aspect of Iroma life long ago on the ranch he lived on with his family. He spent more time out and about having fun and enjoying his life than in prayer or meditation. Savitar lives by the mantra: “You get one life to live no matter what any damn monk says: better enjoy it!” And that's just what he does. He lives by his own rules and his personality matches, he's blunt and crass, yet open about his opinions. In sports, he's a good sportsman, win or lose: it's all fun for him. He's duty bound like other soldiers and a very capable and reliable guy to have for a partner if you can tolerate his wisecracks.

Likes: Liftbike racing, Drinking socially, gambling, and women Dislikes: bad losers, stale drinks, uptight commanders, religious services, and several other things. Goals: To simply live one's life to the fullest.

Savitar was born a Curdatl on a typical ranch, herding and tending to cattle and the like out the badlands. He preferred the wide open spaces to the confines a any temple, in his youth he'd always slip out and sneak away from religious services to go do his own thing. But Savitar wouldn't go too far from home under the rules of the household because he had stuff to do to help out if he wasn't going to pay attention to the religious aspect of life. Life would be largely normal for him. Having learned early how to fight to chase off bandits and the life and already being highly active: he was a shoe-in for the Astral Vanguard when he came of age.

He'd spend ages 18-23 as a general infantry soldier, working on bases for normal security stations. But it was pay and the hours were good as well as plenty of area to go sandboarding, so Savi couldn't complain about it. But when they began to select choice soldiers for frame runners based on experience and talent, he'd somehow make it into the program after someone dropped out of it.

Savitar would prove capable as a pilot with his free-spirited nature, it allowed him to create intuitive battle tactics on the fly and execute them successfully if the situation required it. He isn't the best but he is damn good at what he was able to do which is why he's allowed to remain despite repeated violations of protocol for his crassness, willfulness to avoid standard uniforms.

Savitar has been extensively trained in both defensive and offensive hand-to-hand techniques as well as the use of several hand weapons, including knives, pistols, rifles, anti-tank weaponry and all types of explosives, including grenades. He should pass basic qualifications as a marksman with rifles at 150 meters and with pistols at 20 meters. He is in excellent physical form, with sufficiently high endurance to survive situations such as elevated G-forces and enough stamina for prolonged ground assaults. From a young age Savitar is used to riding beasts of burden and has developed keen reflexes, strength and dexterity required to ride most Iromankuanhe mounts or liftbikes.

Savitar has learned the essentials of tactics and command, but has not achieved the required level of mastery to put him in a command position. However, he is capable of giving and following tactical orders quickly and efficiently in combat scenarios and can follow the command structure of his unit or wing while under highly stressful conditions (combat, etc). He is capable of making use of the information given to him (tactical maps, target statistics, marked targets, etc) and finding relevant information to send to the rest of his unit.

Savitar has advanced comprehension and practical ability in the piloting of a Powered Frame unit, capable of flying under most conditions and operating all of the onboard weaponry safely and efficiently in combat scenarios. He can make complex battlefield maneuvers while under high stress (combat, etc) and adjust his movements to compensate for all logical combat variables (gravity, weapons fire, atmospheric conditions, etc). He understands the basic functionality of his machine and can make basic repairs to certain subsystems. Savitar also knows how to ride liftbikes and how to properly maintain and repair, having learned over a period of time.

Savi has had extensive courses in the use of NI systems aboard the Organoid craft employed by the Astral Vanguard, and understands how to properly utilize his own entry ports to interface with compatible systems. The use of standard-issue electronic devices and conventional computers has also been a part of his education.

Ananta is capable of using all standard communications found in the Iromakuanhe Astral Commonwealth, in particular those employed by the Astral Vanguard. This includes laser, radio and MASC-enhanced variations in various formats and media. He is fluent in Saalsari and Haidasari, and can speak, read and write it correctly. He can communicate clearly even while under fire or in other unnerving situations.

Ananta is capable of basic medical techniques, including everything up to first aid, emergency care such as CPR or the Heimlich maneuver and the administering of pre-prepared medicine, such as painkillers or stimulants.

Savitar learned as a youth how to take care of himself in the world in civilized society or camping in the badlands with his liftbike. He's a master of recognizing what needs to be done and every skill associated with wilderness survival in desert or arid conditions.
