In YE 43, with the introduction of the YE 43 Fleet Expansion Program, the New Dusk Conclave's fleet admirality decided that to simplify future strategic and tactical considerations, it would implement a standardization of military starship speeds. Drawing heavily from the Yamataian and Nepleslian roots of some of its commanders, it adopted a similar system to both nations.
Interstellar vehicles are divided into eight categories:
