Trade (language)

Trade is a shared international language known by many species throughout the SARPiverse. It is a national language of the Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia and one of two national languages of the Yamatai Star Empire (the other being Yamataigo (邪馬台語)). Sometimes Trade is called Nepleslian. Trade is based on the real-world English language.

Trade is spoken by:

• Most international/independent ship captains, cargo transporters, and merchants.
• Almost all Yamataians
• Almost all Nepleslians
• Only a handful of Iromakuanhe. See Iromakuanhe Languages: Trade
• Diplomatic members of the Poku Saeruo Degonjo and ship commanders.
• Most Rixxikor speak crude, profane Trade.

Since Star Army is an English-language site, having most characters speak an English-derived dialect makes it easy for our characters to communicate.
