The traditional military blanket is a rectangular cut of Bulletproof Wool that is used as bedding to keep soldiers warm or as protective cover. Traditional military blankets were typically stored rolled and were often visible atop backpacks or strapped to the side of tanks. They are made by various manufacturers including Ketsurui Zaibatsu.
They are used by the Star Army of Yamatai, Nepleslian Space Marine Corps, and Nepleslian Star Navy.

The Traditional Military Blanket was used by the Army Of Uesureya since before YE 01.
It was tradition to use a soldier's blanket as a burial shroud or makeshift body bag. In the Star Army of Yamatai, this practice was used less after the introduction of the Star Army Body Bag, Type 35 in YE 35.
Typically they are gray in color and marked with a stencil of the military's insignia, for example for the Uesureyan Star Empire's triangular logo and the text “PROPERTY OF THE WESLIAN EMPIRE.”
The Star Army of Yamatai version has the Star Army Hinomaru or Fleet Insignia and the text “STAR ARMY PROPERTY.”
The blanket is stored by folding it in half lengthwise and then rolling it into a cylinder. Commonly elastic straps or large rubber bands are used to hold it into a compact shape.
It's safe to hand-wash these blankets with lukewarm water and small amounts of detergent but do not wring them, as wool stretches easily when wet. Dry flat. Carefully shave off pills/fuzz balls.
For long-term storage, store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container.
