Hoshi II Series Turbo Plasma Drives

A Turbo Plasma Drive System produced by the Yugumo Corporation in YE 42.

The original Hoshi Series Gravimetric Sublight Drives (Discontinued) was phased out when Yugumo Corporation acquired the assets of Motoyoshi Fleet Yards in YE 41. In YE 42 wanting to provide a sublight propulsion solution in line with current technologies in the Yamatai Star Empire, the Yugumo Corporation turned to Turbo Plasma technology, which was already in use by their affiliate Geshrinari Shipyards, and based their version of the drive on the Geshrinari Turbo Plasma Drive.

The Yugumo Corporation produces a restricted version of the drive for ships they build for the Star Army of Yamatai only.

Having the contract for the re-establishment of the First Expeditionary Fleet, and their cooperative agreement with Ketsurui Fleet Yards, the Yugumo Corporation also began to produce Turbo Aether Plasma Drive for the vessels they produce for the Star Army of Yamatai only.
