OI-M3-W3301 25mm Machine Pistol

The OI-M3-W3301 was created in YE 33 by Origin Industries as a small sidearm and backup weapon for the M3 Gekido. It features a built-in energy source - a single HONEY BURST.

The 25mm Machine Pistol is a simple and easy-to-maintain gauss weapon that shares parts with the 25mm Automatic Gauss Cannon and receives its ammunition from a rugged multi-stack magazine made of Durandium Alloy reinforced with a ADNR lattice. Even though the weapon uses advanced electronic fire controls and targeting software, it features an analog trigger (that links to the aforementioned electronic firing system) and standard iron sights for use as a backup in the event the computer-based targeting system is out of commission; during typical use, the trigger is locked - but it can be released for manual use if necessary.

The entirety of the weapon's frame is reinforced to withstand high-velocity impacts - such as those that occur when the Machine Pistol is used as a blunt-force melee weapon.
