Nepleslian News Network was founded in YE 29, a year after the foundation of the Nepleslian Star Empire and a year before the Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia. Records from before its foundation are scarce, but oral history tells that Nepleslian News Network was the result of a merger between local news networks operating separately on Planet Nepleslia, on Rok'Veru, and in Damasica (Neo Kohana).

Structure
The structure of the Nepleslian News Network has a president at the top, underneath whom sits a series of executive vice presidents (EVPs) of various divisions: marketing, talent & content, finance, and legal. Each of the EVPs has direct reports, but the only one with further subdivisions is the EVP of talent & content, under whom sits a head editor and a lead anchorperson, each of whom has their own direct reports.
