Tall but cute for her size at approximately 7.2“ tall and weighing roughly 4kg Taiga is a small but mature NH-33M. With ample hips and waist to make up an appealing silhouette, Kishikibe Taiga looks every part a childs doll but of adult proportions. Doe-eyed with chocolate-hazel eyes and with dimples and sparsed freckles she has a heart-shaped face with angular cheekbones that frame a youthful and pouty face that compliment the usual elfen-ears of the NH-series as well as chestnut hair of such a rich color it can be confused for a dark-ginger color with long bangs and split edges.

Her body is lithe but well-filled out and endowed with long(for her species) legs, soft hands, and creamy caucasian skin while her build is rather soft and devoid of muscle mass she is quite fit.

Standing at only just over 7” Taiga is known as the palm-top tiger

Kishikibe Taiga is one part little-tyrant and the other a self-diagnosed ship-mom. Always seeking to get her way Taiga is driven and motivated and will often be blunt and speak her mind not caring for others evaluation of her; She prefers to let her work and drive speak for itself and will thoughtlessly step all over others to see that the end result is done to her standards. This is not to say she is always harsh or even ever aggressive; Instead she does so in the way a mother might lecture or discipline their children with matching tone and gestures to boot!

As such she can be kind but not nice, harsh but well-meaning, doting but expecting as well. She has high standards that she expects met but will see her subordinates reach those by patiently if sternly guiding and teaching rather than as a drill instructor might and dishing out praise and instruction side by side. This has given Taiga somewhat of a reputation for being respected for her results by her peers and admired by her subordinates.

All this is undone from time to time by a lack of actual aspiration by Taiga. She often wants to see others reach their goals and will push them to reach them while supporting them all the way while having few remaining goals or motives left for herself she lives vicariously through others and can see and feel their failures as her own leading to the occasional slump while rising again as soon as a new fresh-faced subordinate comes along to dote on and drive onwards.

Kishikibe Taiga was born in YE 35. Born after the end of the 2nd Mishhu war on the tales of all the greats and their deeds a young Kishikibe Taiga felt as though she was born for greatness only for it to never come. A batch-sister of a self-formed family unit of nine other neko with the chosen surname of Kishikibe; Taiga always felt the least of her sisters in their formative months. Always supporting them in their games, never leading, never taking the initiative she was always the follower and the one to prop up her kin and never the one in charge or the one to choose.

When it came time for their mandatory service even then as her sisters trained for glorious jobs within the Star Army and Rikkugun Taiga allowed her path to be chosen for her and never spoke out or tried to change when the ranks needed filling not of more soldiery but other roles. A caretaker, a clerk, and other such roles she seemed to fit into nicely as over the years she simply filled out the background of a variety of ships and important but unfulfilling jobs until a calling and destiny came to Kishikibe Taiga with the Kuvexian War in YE-38. Trained in the roll of a medic at that point Taiga found herself on the proverbial front-lines of the war as a starships medic; Seeing first-hand combat and even participating in a number of minor but significant fleet and combat actions Taiga found her niche as a doctor and even despite herself as a soldier she went from standing in the background to at the forefront beside her fellow crew and distant family earning merit all the while and finally coming out of her shell to develop several years late.

By the end of the war Kishikibe Taiga, the least of her sisters, was also the last; ST corruption, attacks on ST facilities, and the loss of their ships and lives saw one by one the Kishikibe sisters lost until just little Taiga remained.

At least of her sisters, that is. The last of her family generation Taiga adopted the roll of step-mother to her nieces born from her kin and even something of a full-surrogate mother to them to see them grow into their own and find their own way.

By YE-47, after over a decade and more, Kishikibe Taiga has long-since transferred into the NH33m variant of the neko body having found that despite it's small size it just feeling right for her both physically and mentally and has become the newly minted Chief Medical Officer of the YSS Yukika II and a Shoi.
