Eyes and Facial Features: Rikou has her mother's red eyes, and her face is shaped between oval and round. her appearance is very youthful.

Ears: Rikou's low-hung, equilateral-tringle ears are covered in short brown fur to match her hair.

Hair Color and Style: Rikou has long, straight medium-brown hair. She often wears it in a ponytail, but just as often wears it down.

Distinguishing Features: Rikou has red eyes. Unlike normal Nekovalkyrja, she does not possess a genetic identification tattoo.

Personality: Rikou is somewhat shy, but she has a tendency to care for others, even those she does not know. She is fairly inexperienced with the world at large, and it shows in her mostly unformed personality.

Likes: Yamataian candy, ethnic Yamataian food, making friends. Dislikes: people fighting without reason. Goals: none yet.

Yui (mother)

Rikou is the fifth child of Ketsurui Yui. She was born into and raised in the Ketsurui court. ¹⁾

Rikou attended Fort ready, where she learned all her basic skills required by a Nekovalkyrja. She didn't seem to be anything more than mildly amused with most combat-related training, but took especial interest to starship operations training, which she invested much of her time in. In preparation for becoming a true starship captain, She was assigned a post on the YSS Genesis, which was more of an honorary position as she continues her training on board a real ship.

The YSS Genesis is Rikou's first real assignment, as well as an advanced continuation of her training.

As a Nekovalkyrja and the daughter of the former empress and the head of the Star Army, Rikou is expected to have at least the same knowledge as every other Neko. As such, she was trained from her youngling days just as all other Nekovalkyrja were, though at a different pace, and generally with private tutors within the Ketsurui court.

Like all Nekovalkyrja, Rikou is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Rikou is fluent in Nepleslian and Yamataian. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.

Rikou has received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and power armor.

Rikou is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.

Rikou received mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry.

Aside from the standard skills all of her race must know, Rikou learned a few other skills in order to round out her education.

Rikou is interested in starships and has studied the basics of starship operations, including navigation, sensors, and some weapons systems. She does, however, lack any kind of actual experience with any of these subjects.

As a Ketsurui, Rikou has grown up around many whom are subservient to her. She knows her place, and is respectful to those in a position above her. Rikou seems to have a natural ability to instill confidence in others, but this only works when she herself is feeling especially confident.

Rikou has taken a liking to the Culinary arts, and knows how to cook. She can bake, fry, boil, broil, and grill just about anything, but specializes in sweets and desserts.

Ketsurui Rikou is a Ketsurui princess. She has everything she needs provided her by her family.
