Michael Saxton

Build and Skin Color: Michael has a muscular, tall build. His skin is slightly tan. His arms are large but he has a bit of a belly. He has a tattoo on his back from his days as a member of a gang.

Eyes and Facial Features: He has rather small, green eyes. He has a square jaw and high cheekbones. He also has a a five o' clock shadow.

Ears: Standard Nepleslian ears.

Hair Color and Style: He has brown hair and has a crew cut.

Distinguishing Features: He has long scar going from his lower jaw to his left ear.

Personality: Michael is a passionate man with a love for violence. He is rather slow, often needing someone to repeat instructions, much to his frustration. He is often seen hanging out with friends, laughing and drinking. He is very impulsive and has a habit of going into close quarter combat. He spends most of his time either training or working out. Has a tendency to go into swearing fits. He had a love/hate relationship with his father. Though his father relentlessly pushed him, Michael respects him and joined the Marines to honor his memory. After an accident which caused the death of an innocent bystander, Michael developed a sense of protectiveness towards civilians. He enjoys being on the front lines, and gets bored whenever he can't fight. He is a loyal soldier, even if he disagrees with an order, he will still follow it out of a sense of duty.

Michael was fighting for his life the very day he was born. Complications during the birth caused his mother to die of a cardiac arrest. This unfortunate event turned Michael's father, a former soldier, into a strict and bitter man. His only interest in his child was Michael's fighting skill. He trained Michael in the use of firearms and hand to hand combat. Due to his father's strict training routine, Michael often got into fights with other children, sometimes starting them without provocation. He caught the attention of a local gang, and was recruited after he beat two of them in a fist fight. Michael let out his anger through acts of vandalism and violence. He received his scar during a skirmish against a rival gang, where he was slashed across the face. When an innocent bystander was killed during a rather violent brawl, Michael decided to leave the gang. He went though different jobs, like bar tending and construction work. When his father died from a heart attack, Michael decided to continue his father's legacy, and he joined the Marines.

Michael knows most Nepleslian words and he can write reports and fill forms though he occasionally misspells words and he hasn't learned all Nepleslian words. He is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, ships, ground vehicles, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions.

Hand to hand- Michael was taught at a young age to fist fight. Years of fighting on the street have made his reflexes faster than the average human's. He is skilled in the use of knives and any weapon he can get his hands on.

Firearms- His father had taught him how to use firearms. Basic Training had allowed him to master his skill. He prefers to use an assault rifle over any other weapons, though he'll eagerly use any high caliber weapons.

Physical- Michael is incredibly fit able to run for a long time. His large muscles allow him to hit hard and do jobs that require heavy lifting.

Life in the urban sprawls have made him a natural scavenger. He knows how to build shelters, start fires and navigate without maps or electronics from Survival Training.

Michael has extensive knowledge of battle tactics. He is very disciplined and will follow any order his superior gives him. He excels in urban combat, knowing how to fight in enclosed spaces and flanking tactics. He doesn't fight well in areas with little cover, such as deserts.

Michael has a good singing voice and can play guitar rather well. He is naturally talented when it comes to playing instruments. He worked as a bartender for about 6 months, so he can fix up a few drinks.
