The Ke-V9-P3301 Ion Maneuvering Thruster was developed for use on the Ke-V9 "Nodachi" Assault Fighter and became available in YE 33.
The Ke-V9-P3301 are a fairly basic form of propulsion that generate thrust by accelerating and expelling charged particles, generally known as ions. These thrusters are typically placed in many locations across a ships surface, and are most commonly utilized in vacuum environments for attitude adjustment, docking maneuvers or for remaining in a stationary position.
