M19 Weapons and Accessories

The following is a list of accessories, weapons, and add-ons created for the M19 Ryoko Mecha. Due to the power limitations of the Ryoko's reactors and capacitors, up to 8 Tier Weapons (TW) and 2 Tier-Equivalent Weapon Group (TEWG).

Shoulder Hardpoint

Weapons typically designed for the shoulder are missiles and indirect support weaponry. Ammunition for a large handheld weapon is also attached to the shoulder but actually are behind the Ryoko. Typically they are attached to the “Planetary” backpack which removes the upper thruster vanes of the Ryoko.

Ke-M19-W4315 Quad Mini-Missile Rack

Consisting of four modified Ke-M2-W2906 Shoulder-Fired Missile Pods slaved together to a single fire control system, the Ke-M19-W4315 Quad Mini-Missile Rack fulfills an anti-armor role. When not in use, the missiles are protected by the pod's launcher covers.

Ke-M19-W4302 Dual Torpedo Adapter

Ke-M19-W4302 Dual Torpedo Adapter is a simple mounting system that mimics hardpoints found on fighters. While useless in a terrestrial environment, they can be used to carry torpedos in a Zero-G environment like fighters.

Ke-M19-W4319 155mm Linear Howitzer

A lighter version of the 200mm Heavy Railgun intended for mounting on the shoulder. The Ke-M19-W4319 does not require the Ryoko to be immobile in order to fire indirectly on planets. When not active, the barrel of the weapon folds upward to reduce the length of the weapon.

* Power Cost: (1 TW)

Nomenclature Information

Appearance

The Ke-M19-W4319 155mm Linear Howitzer is made up of three sections, the barrel assembly, the breech assembly, and the autoloader/magazine. The barrel is a simple tube of Durandium Alloy that has a boxy appearance halfway to the breech assembly. The Breech Assembly looks like a wide boxy shape that pivots in the center. The autoloader looks like a crane's counter-weight and remains in the same shape no matter the elevation of the barrel.

Ammunition

The 155mm Linear Howitzer makes use of the 155x600mm Railgun Round.

Weapon Mechanisms

Forearm Hardpoint

Typically used as a connection point for high powered handheld weaponry, small offensive and defensive systems can also be attached.

Ke-M19-W4305 Multipurpose Plasma Forearm Weapon

The Ke-M19-W4305 is a light anti-mecha weapon with offensive and defensive capability (convex shield). It is based on the Ke-M12-W3300 Forearm Weapon, with connections for handheld weapons. The Ke-M19-W4305 rises from its compartment and projects its blade over the hands of the Ryoko. An extended magnetic handguard keeps the hand from moving into the field of fire.

Firing Mode Purpose Rate of Fire Area of Effect Range
Blade Tier 7, Light Anti-Mecha Constant Single Target 13’(4m), 2'(61cm) wide blade, wider at the base
Pulse Tier 5, Medium Anti-Armor 500 pulses per second Single Target 4.3 miles(7,000m), 1'(30cm) wide pulse
Beam Tier 7, Light Anti-Mecha 1 beam every 2 seconds Single Target 50 miles(80km), 1'(30cm) wide beam

Hip Hardpoint

While small weaponry emplacements can be attached to the hips, the hip hardpoints are typically used for utilitarian purposes.

Ke-M19-W4316 Dual Mini-Missile Rack

Consisting of two modified Ke-M2-W2906 Shoulder-Fired Missile Pods slaved together to a single fire control system, the Ke-M19-W4316 Dual Mini-Missile Rack fulfills an anti-armor role. When not in use, the missiles are protected by the pod's launcher covers.

Ke-M19-G4315 Aether Beam Cannon Generator

Due to the M19 Ryoko Mecha being primarily powered by fusion reactors, an additional aether generator is required for peak operation. Armored with Yama-Dura plating, the Ke-M19-G4315 Aether Beam Cannon Generator is lined with Yarvex and Xiulurium to further protect the generator from spall and reduce its energy signature.

Ke-M19-M4302 Weapon Mount

A specially designed weapon mount for the Aether Beam Cannon and the plasma blade. It can also accommodate other weapons that reduce their size in a similar manner.

Outer Calf Hardpoint (2)

The outer calf mirrors the shoulders with its primary use being the location of missile-based weaponry. Support for additional propulsion systems also exists.

Ke-M19-W4302 Dual Torpedo Adapter

Handheld

Not technically a hardpoint, the hands of the Ryoko do have power/gass supply connection points for supported handheld weaponry (or attached to the forearm hardpoint).

Ke-M19-W4300 Aether Beam Cannon

Ke-M19-W4301 200mm Heavy Railgun

The Ke-M19-W4301 200mm Heavy Railgun is designed as an alternative for orbital bombardment and fires missions that do not require high mobility. The Ke-D7-W3200 Mass Driver Gun serves as an inspiration for the weapon. The weapon was developed by Sakura Machinery in YE 42 and given its nomenclature in YE 43.

Nomenclature Information

Appearance

The 200mm Heavy Railgun is a long weapon that resembles a bazooka. At the end of the weapon, is the firing assembly, autoloader, and box magazine underneath it. The whole weapon is made with Durandium Alloy and usually colored in Yamataian blues or black.

Discharge Information

Heavy, shakes the whole mecha when used within an atmosphere.

Ammunition

Notes

While on a planet, the Ryoko (or any other Mecha making use of the weapon that isn't quad-legged) needs to sit in order to handle the recoil of the sonic boom and to aim accurately long distances. It can be used normally, with care, for direct use.

Ke-M19-W4303 Particle Beam Rifle

The Ke-M19-W4303 is designed to be an anti-mecha weapon for direct support missions. Developed by Sakura Machinery for use with sister corporation Ryu Heavy Industries mecha design, it was adopted for M19 used under the nomenclature Ke-M19-W4303 in YE 43.

Nomenclature Information

Appearance

The Ke-M19-W4303 is a sleek, black rifle that shares some features of the much smaller Ke-M2/12-W3903 Coherent Aether Rifle. It has a tuning fork type barrel that is used to focus the plasma particles and project them in the firing sequence. A weapon sight is located at the top of the weapon on rails and the back of the weapon housing cabling to power connections if a Mecha is not compatible with the power connections in the grip.

Ke-M19-W4310 Plasma Blade

The Ke-M19-W4310 Plasma Blade is a two-handed weapon modeled off of the nagamaki nodachi the corporation's parent Clan is fond of. It was approved for use with the M19 Ryoko and given the nomenclature of Ke-M19-W4310 in YE 43.
