Star Army Holiday Kit, Type 36

The Type 36 Holiday Kit is a special type of kit for a special time of year. It contains paraphernalia for celebrating the Year-End Traditions. The idea is to provide recipients with the basic gear for having a great holiday celebration, excluding the tree, gifts, and, of course, the people.

The Type 36 Holiday Kit was created and issued by the Star Army of Yamatai starting in YE 36 and

In YE 41, the Star Army conducted its evaluation of the usage of this kit and decided to keep using them until at least YE 46.

In YE 46, the Star Army did another equipment review and reauthorized it until at least YE 51.

The holiday kit contains the following:

• 1 roll of wrapping paper, random design
• 1 dispenser of clear tape
• 5 permanent markers (1 black, 1 silver, 1 red, 1 green, and 1 gold)
• 10 gift labels with adhesive backings
• 10 packets of instant hot cocoa mix
• 5 candy canes, peppermint
• 1 bag of praline pecans, 1 kg
• 1 bag of chocolates, coin-shaped and wrapped in gold foil, 1 kg
• 1 random ornament (Here's a random ornament generator if you need ideas)
• A sprig of mistletoe (added YE 37)
• Small battery-powered personal decorative tree, approximately 8 inches in height (added YE 37)
  • Randomly comes in dark green, frosted dark green, white, or silver
  • Has multi-colored fiberglass lights

It is shipped in the form of a wooden chest and is covered in protective vacuum-sealed plastic. It can only be requested during the last month of the Yamataian Calendar by a Star Army Unit Supply Specialist, who sends in a request for the amount needed for the ship or unit.
