Star Army Pay

Soldiers and Officers of the Star Army of Yamatai can be paid by the scales below, or forgo their pay to go on the Yamatai Prestige System. The Yamataigo (邪馬台語) word for salary is kyûryô (給料).

This is the monthly paycheck a soldier will receive, calculated by pay grade (rank) and years served in the Star Army.

Example: A Shôshô (O7) with 16 years of service would earn 16,000 KS a month.

Here is the salary earned in a 9-month period (1 year on the Yamataian Calendar) assuming no changes in rank or reenlistment.

In November YE 32, the Star Army of Yamatai switched from a weekly paycheck to a monthly paycheck.

On 1日 1月 YE 38, a new pay scale took effect that eliminated the previous experience credit system with a new one that automatically increased base pay every 3 years by 10%. The Family Support Allowance and Family Service Credit were also eliminated. Meanwhile, the actual pay was significantly increased, especially for low-ranking soldiers.

On 1日 1月 YE 39, the Star Army converted to a 9-month system matching the Yamataian Calendar. Adjusted pay amounts were rounded up, resulting in a slight pay increase.
