L'ulorsha Weave is the result of cooperation between the Yaducath Intelligence Agency and Lux Aurora in YE 42. It was reverse engineered from captured Craethel Technology.
Following the Battle of Nytherial Drift, when the crew of the MERN Retribution infiltrated the exposed Ysamota Forward Base of the Craethel Advance Forces in YE 42. Under the command of Gemetzel Caeyara and Lao'Taun Chonyosa (A former Umarian), the away team was able to capture the first craethel exosuit that was unable to self-destruct prior to being fully analyzed. The objective of the mission was to identify what the actual Craethel species looked like, however the exosuit was unoccupied.
Following the conclusion of the mission, the exosuit was handed over to then YIA Deputy Director, Katara Eitan during the debriefing. Katara worked with MERN Scientists and YIA scientists to analyze and learn as much about the exosuit as possible in the hopes of finding an exploitable weakness or a technology that would assist allied forces in the field. One of the layers of material they found was a synthetic nanomaterial that utilized the theory of quantum entanglement to create a nearly impenetrable fabric resistant to kinetic energy and penetration, and offered a minimum amount of shielding from the energy weapons utilized by the Craethel. In late YE 42, the first MERN version of the material was utilized in the lining of a stealth dropship selected for a mission. The material was proven to be more effective than first predicted during laboratory testing, and was released 'officially' to Lux Aurora for mass production at the end of that year.

As of YE 44, L'ulorsha Weave had become common place in everything from starship inner hull linings (Type I) and personal protection/combat gear (Type II) by Lux Aurora. L'ulorsha Weave can be produced on any United Norian Navy of Free Commonwealth Star Navy vessel utilizing the ship's fabrication systems. The process involves a set weave pattern of specialized modified carbon nanotubes and quantum dot semiconductors are incorporated with exotic particles known as “Entanglitons.” “Entanglons” particles are designed to maintain a state of quantum entanglement, and the material is described as a nearly impenetrable fabric resistant to some kinetic energy and penetration. This allows it to redistribute and adapt to impacts and convert energy into harmless levels of thermal energy. This web of entangled particles creates a “quantum-linked” fabric, where effects on one part of the material are immediately dissipated across the entire material.
Speculatively, the Yaducath Intelligence Agency has created a stealth version of its own that also includes an outer layer light-bending nanostructures controlled by the quantum entangled network, allowing the armor to shift its light reflection properties on command. This rumor has yet to be confirmed as of YE 46.
There are currently two types of L'ulorsha Weave in production.
Type I, is usually a 2.5-3cm thick material produced to provide protection from debris penetration to crew compartments on starships and small craft. Due to the additional thickness of this configuration of the material the energy protection is lost. This is more comparable in capability to Yarvex, but not in structure or theory to it.
Type II, is more of a traditional fabric weave utilized in the construction of environmental suits and combat suits (hard suits like the Cholegam Combat Suit) as well as other military clothing and gear. This configuration is comparable to Kinugoshi-ko.
