"Urban Warrior" Tactical Skirt

The Tactical Skirt came to life from a commission for clothing by the Fujiko Development Corporation. It was introduced to the public in late YE 46. It comes in all the standard sizes for Ryu and Liu clothing, which versions without liners for Separa'Shan clients.

The Tactical Skirt was designed in response to the increasing demand from female Nepleslian Reds seeking a functional yet stylish alternative to traditional utility pants. First issued by the FDC in YE 46, it was developed as part of the Ryu and Liu's Urban Warrior Line.

The FDC Tactical Skirt is designed with a focus on both style and practicality, offering full tactical functionality with a more feminine silhouette.

- Material: The skirt is crafted from Adaptive Nanoweave, which consists of a high-strength nanofiber base combined with a nanite-MEMS layer. This enables real-time adjustments to body shape and environmental conditions, making the skirt adaptable to various climates and movement-intensive activities. The nanite layer also facilitates self-repair for minor tears or abrasions, extending the garment's durability.

The Tactical Skirt is a versatile piece of tactical clothing, designed for both field use and everyday wear in urban environments with its built-in boxer-style liner ensuring comfort and modesty during physical activities. In organizations, it can be standard issue for female personnel working in hot climates or requiring greater mobility in non-combat roles, though it can also be worn as part of a full tactical loadout.

Like all clothing that makes use of Adaptive Nanoweave fabric, special care is required to maintain its advanced functionalities. Prior to washing, the skirt should be placed into maintenance mode through a connected device, activating the nanites to secure the MEMS components and ensure safe cleaning. The skirt can be machine washed in cold water using a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Bleach and fabric softeners should be avoided as they can interfere with the nanite functions and conductive fibers. Air drying is recommended, though low-heat tumble drying is acceptable if necessary.

For optimal performance, the fabric should undergo rejuvenation treatments at least once a year. These treatments refresh the nanite and MEMS functionalities and restore the fabric's adaptive and self-repairing capabilities.
