Neithorngom Aether Spine Array

The Neithorngom Aether Spine Array is a condensed aether weapon that was first deployed on the Neithorngom-Class Battleship in YE 45.

In YE 45, when the Neithorngom-Class Battleship design was being finalized the developers in the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Nougpift desired to have a multi-purpose array of condensed aether turrets for the new ship. They wished to deploy a multitude of independently powered weapons that would deal as much damage as possible to Star Army of Yamatai ships and space stations.

The Aether Spine Array refers to the multiple weapons that are located on the antler-like structures of the Neithorngom-Class Battleship. The array is divided into three weapon types; the Major Spine (Tier 13 - Light Anti-Capital Ship) located at the terminus of the antler-like structures, the Minor Spine (Tier 10 - Light Anti-Starship) located along the antler-like structures, and the Cluster Spine (Tier 7 - Light Anti-Mecha) located at the apex of other spine strictures along the antler-like structures. Each weapon has its own independent power source, cooling, and control systems. They can be fired by the Brain Slave, by Mishhuvurthyar from the tactical station, or from a small control room located in the antler appendages of the ship.
