Condensed Plasma Cartridges (Ammunition)
Condensed Plasma Cartridge technology was created by Sitanin Zbrojovka Unlimited in YE 30. The ammunition listed here is the latest iteration of that technology, introduced in YE 38. This ammunition is available wherever SiZi is sold but specific types may be restricted by local laws.
The cartridges are powered by an internal energy recycler that feeds from the plasma-state energy already condensed within each casing. While built to be cheap and disposable for what they are, they can be reloaded with a simple charging station. However, the volatile nature of condensed plasma make the technology cost prohibitive for non-contract buyers.
12.7×33mm Fio Action Tactical
Specifically designed for use with the SiZi Model 38 Special Duty Revolver, the 12.7×33mm Fio Action Tactical cartridge contains a tightly condensed mass of plasma energy that expands violently and rapidly when released. The cartridge builds upon gunsmith Fiolina Jilad's old technology by further stabilizing the plasma energy to increase the ammo's power band.
It is named after its designer.

Standard Cartridge
This cartridge is a modern version of the classic, versatile ammunition the original Model 30 revolver was designed to use. It is effective against both unarmored personnel and power armored infantry.

- Damage Description: This large blue plasma blast can rend massive holes in thick conventional armor or flesh and cause light damage to modern power armors.
- Effective Range: 935 feet/285 meters

- Muzzle Blast: A bright blue-white flare.
- Recoil: The cartridge produces a hard but manageable kick.
- Energy Source: Condensed plasma contained within the cartridge.
Heavy Cartridge
Heavy cartridges can also be traced back to the Model 30. This anti-power armor shell contains a huge amount of plasma energy in a small space and should be handled with some amount of care. The original ammunition of this type was partly responsible for the M30's commercial failure after a handful of owners fired their pistols using heavy cartridges without wearing armor. It reads “FOR POWER ARMOR USE ONLY” etched in Trade (language) and Yamataigo (邪馬台語) around the cartridge's rear priming surface.

- Damage Description: This large green plasma blast can disintegrate thick conventional armor or flesh and can easily fell power armors like the NAM Terratech General Combat Armorsuit – “Hostile” with about 5 well-placed shots.

- Muzzle Blast: A bright green-white flare.
- Recoil: The cartridge produces a massive, explosive kick when fired from a weapon resulting in a direct Tier 2, Medium Anti-Personnel to the user.1)

Light Cartridge
New for YE 38, the light cartridge comes after years of testing and fine tuning different plasma intensities and release mechanisms. The result is a shell containing 8 shots that hit much harder than they sound.

- Damage Description: This sleek teal plasma blast can knock an average man off his feet from close range and damage soft targets effectively.
- Effective Range: 935 feet/285 meters
- Muzzle Velocity: N/A, energy
- Muzzle Blast: A bright teal-white flare.
- Recoil: The cartridge produces almost no recoil and only a minor amount of plasma exhaust compared to other condensed plasma cartridges. The kick is muted but present and entirely manageable.
- Energy Source: Condensed plasma contained within the cartridge.
Special Purpose Ammunition
This type of shell is less ammunition than it is a customizable delivery system that can be used to place recording equipment, deploy aerosol or incendiary agents, stun an enemy, or in conjunction with any number of miniaturized devices.
- Damage Rating: Usually no damage, but up to Medium Anti-Personnel (Tier 4) depending on specialized payloads.

- Energy Source: A tiny amount of condensed plasma and propellant.

Heavy cartridges cause the pistol's user to be washed in plasma exhaust, effecting Tier 2 damage to the user's firing arm, entire torso, and head. Per DRv3 guidelines, an unarmored user is Tier 0. At Tier 2, the heavy cartridge's backblast is “Assuredly Lethal” to an unarmored user, who will experience severe shock and die without prompt medical attention. Only wearing a power armor can sufficiently mitigate this damage.
