OHI Long Range Missiles

OHI Long Range Missiles missiles are large long range missiles. They were developed in YE 43 by OHI after the Vortex Plasma Thruster had finally been minitaurized enough for use on missiles and other fighters or small craft. These missiles are the largest of OHI's missiles that can be mounted in the dorsal missile bays of the VF-41 Sparrowhawk. Additionally, laucher options were developed for mounting on the Spartan and Super Spartan combat mecha using their shoulder hardpoints.

Their warhead is a scaled up version of the one on the OHI Standard Missile, and is much more deadly, able to destroy large craft such as large shuttles and dropships, or damage small starships. In YE 45 the OHI Missile Update Program led to increases in the STL speed and range of the missile. Like its smaller siblings, changes to OHI's manufacturing practices led to larger quantities of missiles being sold for lower prices
