The “Belt of Giant Strength” is an exosuit designed by Iemochi Innovations & Sales. It is a strap-on set of slim-fit hydraulic pistons. By wearing the suit, an individual can vastly improve their athletic abilities. While originally marketed as a way for Human-strength people to gain the unusual strength needed to keep pace with more physically inclined species, it can also augment the strength of those stronger species.
The “Belt of Giant Strength” was designed in YE 44 by a worker in Iemochi Innovations & Sales as a simple way to increase the strength of a wielder. As species with advanced strength are more valuable in industry, particularly heavy industry and logistics, a product was needed to help standard-strength individuals to bridge the gap. After success in testing, the potential military applications were investigated, and several versions were created that focused more on that aspect of the product. A version was later released that allows for IIS "Wings of Flying" Aerial Movement Gear to be worn at the same time.
Here is the data regarding the entity which created and manufactures this item.
While usually made of ADNR (Aggregated Diamond Nanorods), it is possible to provide metal from which the manufacturer will make the product out of. The device is a humanoid shape, made for beings with two arms, two legs and a spine. The product consists of a number of relatively unobtrusive rectangular pistons which are affixed between the joints of the body by solid straps. The pistons lie quite flush with the body, as do the straps. They are arranged in such a way to allow unobstructed freedom of joint movement. There is a protected chamber that can be located anywhere on the spine piston, which includes the control unit, a 48-hour battery, and a port for connecting to a power generator. The battery and generator can be replaced with a spark_fusion_core. It also wirelessly recharges in most buildings or bases.

The staps contain positional sensors which sense the direction that the user wishes to move a limb. This is fed back to a control unit situated in the small of the back of the spinal piston. The device then actuates the pistons in such a way that best assists the natural strength of the limbs, with safeguards against overextension of joints. As the pistons use hydraulics, it is possible for the device to withstand a huge amount of weight and exert a significant amount of force on the surfaces it is actuating upon.
While under heavy strain, and stationary for more than a few seconds, the device will lock up until the user moves more than one limb. If the user attempts to move all four limbs while “locked up”, the straps will open so that the user can leave the device while it is still active. This is to allow the user to escape from a situation in which they would otherwise be trapped under a collapsing load. Additionally, explosive bolts are fitted in several of the straps, which are used by the device to instantly eject from the user whenever a fault is detected, or if the device becomes more of a hinderance than a benefit due to damage.
