Desert Fang Combat Knife

The Desert Fang Combat Knife was designed by Deidre Kirsty NicAlasdair of Deidre's Huge Rack of Guns in YE 33.

The Desert Fang, as it is known was developed as a customized combat knife by Deidre Kirsty NicAlasdair in YE 33, for Yukari Freeman at her request for both herself and her team to use as an alternative to the Survival Knife, Type 22. The knife itself is of light construction but boasts superb durability due to the use of metamaterials during the forging process. The knife blade utilizes a tanto tip for increased tip strength with a minor reduction in cutting surface area. Material wise a unique blend of Durandium Alloy and Nerimium for the outer layers of the blade to allow it to hold a razor-sharp edge longer due to Nerimium Powder being impregnated into the somewhat porous Durandium. Towards the core, there is a slightly greater emphasis of Nerimium to provide a little more rigidity.

The grip much like the Fang's blade is a soft tan hue to better blend into desert environs, the material for the grip is made of an in-house manufactured high-performance elastomer for a non-slip grip.
