Distinguishing Features: Cybernetic implants make up the majority of Lucas' body. His implants include:

1. Both legs
2. Left half of his torso, including ribcage, arm, lung, stomach, intestines, spleen and pancreas
3. Left side of his face including skin, eye and ear

The synthetic skin on his face and neck are toned to match his natural flesh. His other implants, however, retain their metallic appearance. His left eye, also, remains an obvious implant.

Personality: Zion has a passion for saving life. His entire goal in life is to preserve as much of it as he's able.

If asked, Zion will say that his only like is preserving life. However, he does retain a joy for building and tinkering. Most of that hobby now revolves around equipment designed to protect or save lives.

His one serious dislike is death. This was a major hurdle to overcome in joining the military, but he figured his services would be most needed where the most deaths occur.

Lucas Zion grew up as the son of wealthy investors who'd moved from Nepleslia to Yamatia in order to expand their portfolios.

He was originally schooled and employed as an engineer on Yamatai. A reactor explosion ultimately caused him to lose both legs, and the majority of the left side of his body when he was 22 years old. His parents, being from Nepleslia, immediately turned to cybernetics to save his life.

This event was the catalyst for a change in career. Grateful for a second chance at life, and feeling especially passionate about preserving it, himself, Zion enrolled in medical school. He spent the standard decade doing medical training to become a doctor, but took an additional three years of study and practice to become an expert on the biology of as many species as he could manage to research.

After completing medical school, and prior to joining the Star Army, Zion's parents funded upgrades to his cybernetic augmentations, performed by Claymere Cybernetics Unlimited so that Zion could have medical equipment such as laser scalpels and surgical tools, plus various diagnostic equipment installed into his implants.

Zion decided to join the Star Army in order to help preserve life in conditions where such services would be most needed.

Medical schooling and training has given him a full compliment off medical skills.
