Personality: Michiko has a very friendly personality, and she trusts fairly easily. Because of this nature, she can be pretty naive at times as well as somewhat gullible. Her attitude is almost always upbeat and ready to take on the next challenge, whether it be a job or a person. Don't let that fool you, though. She takes her job very seriously and is an extremely loyal companion. Due to her young age, she is still developing her own personality as she faces a scary new world with a smile and skip to her step.

When Michiko was born, it was cold. One of her first thoughts was why it was so cold. The technicians were kind, but efficient as they worked to get her moving. Those first few steps off of the cold table where she had been laying down was the worst experience in her life at the time. Then, it became easier as she kept taking steps. That's when it dawned on her. Her name was Akimoto Michiko. She was a Nekovalkyrja medic in service of the Star Army of Yamatai. This immediate sense of identity gave her ease of mind and kept her going as her training commenced. As her training progressed, she began interacting with other Nekovalkyrja to forge her own personality. Once her training was complete, it was time to leave for her first real assignment. As the ferries took her away from the only home she ever knew, Michiko simply took a deep breath and smiled.
