Damarian Xandar

Damarian Xandar is a player character played by ethereal.

Damarian is 5'11“, well toned with deep chocolate brown eyes and unruly coal black hair. He has a somewhat deeper voice than most and has a demenaour about him that conveys total confidence and calm. There are several scars dotted around his body and one of his large, dark horns is chipped at the end. His eyes dance with a warm glow and understanding gaze. His arms and legs sport an array of light blue tattoos of swirling winds and tribal markings.

Damarian seemed to be a supremely confident person, always ready for whatever may come. He is generally kind and understanding, having touched the heart of many a creature. Not quick to anger, he may not even raise his hands to an aggressor who threatens him. However, in a heated situation his planeswalker upbringing has given him a sense of militarism that causes the fire within to rise. His past has also instilled in him a sense of regime and order that many see as over the top.

He can relate to others well but struggles to put what he means into words. When one-on-one with someone, he is a lot more relaxed than otherwise. Respect is earned, yet compassion should be given freely.

Damarian Xandar was born in YE 16 on the plains of the Nuocr Expanse as a Sund Wakir. Born in AR 924 to a tribe of warrior monks, he wandered the holy deserts for many years, learning the ancient martial art style, Desert Wind, and skills of his people. Soon, he emerged as a prodigy empath and was inducted into the Dream Consorts, learning archaic healing, communion and meditative skills. This caused him to shed much of his past, losing the survivor's air that his childhood had given him.

When exploring Gehn School practices following the conclusion of his training, Damarian soon realised that there were greater things to see in the universe that would bring him closer to religious perfection. Not only that, there were more people in need of healing in the stars than on his world. It was time to travel - travel far and experience much, to leave the Colonist ship he was assigned to. The Dreamer Vigil demands it.

Optional section. Damarian Xandar has the following notable skills:

• Animal Handling: Being well-trained in the arts of the Dream Courtiers is able to interface with animals, letting them train and use them to the benefit of others.
• Entertainment: Years of reciting fables and performing ancient dances of the desertfolk have given Damarian the ability to perform these acts for the entertainment and delight of audiences. In addition, the deepest forms of meditation require great feats of flexibility.
• Empathy: Rigorous conditioning at the hands of one of his civilisation's most prestigious holy orders have honed his biological ability to connect with the nervous systems and minds of others. He can use this to great affect in transferring large amounts of information and feeling others' emotions.
• Healing: Trained in spiritual healing, Damarian can use his connection to purge others of feelings of sadness, guilt, fear and other negative emotions. In addition, this connection can be used to share physical feelings such as pain to lessen the suffering of others.
• Fighting: Years of martial training in the boiling sun and scalding sands have toughened Damarian against superficial, constant pain and subsequently he has increased tolenrance for pain in general. Combat meditation training from his chosen Order has given enhanced hand-to-hand abilities, to incredibly impressive levels while he maintains concentration.
