Star Army of Yamatai water containers and filtration systems that utilize Hemosynthetics. They were updated in YE 43.
In YE 43 following the upgrades to the Nodal Liquid Conduit System and the Star Army Standard Life Support Systems, Dr.Shinichiro Tomoko at Ketsurui Zaibatsu began to work on putting hemosynthetic water filters into use in the field. The first set of designs she came up with was to integrate hemosynthetic filters into the Canteen and Jerrycan Jug formats to allow soldiers to filter water for consumption in the field.

Hemosynthetic Filters range in size from small cartridges to large industrial-sized filtration units found in things like the Star Army Standard Life Support Systems. In simplicity, the filters work through the use of femtomachines found in hemosynth to remove impurities, bacteria, and other organisms on the molecular level from water. The captured impurities are broken down into their basic components then transferred into storage across a selective membrane wherein small systems are stored in a catch basin; and in larger systems, they are forwarded into systems like the Matter Collection System or Fabrication System for use in fabrication and other functions. While a lot of functions of the Nodal Liquid Conduit System and other Hemosynthetic Systems are high energy, the filtration applications are generally low power. Through the ability of femtomachinery to create their own osmotic gradients, the water in the container is constantly in a cycle of filtration.
The Ke-G10-1A Canteen is a standard-issue 1L Yarvex-lined thin bodied Durandium Alloy Canteen with a bottom inserted Hemosynthetic filter and capacitor.
The Ke-G11-1A and Ke-G11-1B “JJ” Jerrycan is similar to the Jerrycan Jug but it has a removable catch basin, with a bottom inserted Hemosynthetic filter and capacitor. It comes in the same 8L and 20L capacities and is also lined with Yarvex.
