AMTC- Computer Program Module

The Computer Program Module (CPM) is subcomponent of the Autonomous Medical Treatment Center (AMTC) and became available in YE 31.

The CPM is the brains of each AMTC unit. There are two versions with similar functions. They provide the intelligence, and network communications between the units.

For units sold to the Star Army and Yamatai government agencies. The CPM is an Isolated Computer Pad which allows it to interface smoothly with the PANTHEON computer systems in use there. Since it uses the same Kessaku OS.

For units sold to civilian organizations and individuals use the SYNC network.

• The CPM programmed to speak Trade (language), and Yamataigo (邪馬台語) languages.
• The programming of the CPM is specialized for the type of AMTC unit it will be installed in. They contain the equivalent knowledge/skill comparable to the medical care to be provided.
• The CPM is not an AI, but rather uses a sophisticated logic tree that combined with quantum computing power of the CPM give the appearance of intelligence.
• The CPM is capable of expanding its logic tree. For example when its logic tree finds a solution to a new Pathogen then that data is added to its logic tree. It can also share those expansions with other AMTC units of the same class.
• The systems can also be updated by Ketsurui Zaibatsu technicians as part of a routine maintenance agreement.
