Qakla

When a male Qaktoro and a female Tula reproduce, the result is a Qakla, one of the two hybrid species of the Poku Saeruo Degonjo. The word Qakla (pronounced khăk-lă) is used both as a singular and plural noun. Their physical appearance is mainly influenced by the father, but they inherit some qualities from the mother.

Only a rare few Qakla are capable of using Vit'taka (Plant Speech), and some parents of Qakla refuse to allow their hybrid children to perform the Yoqate'ka (Communion) and potentially awaken their ability.

Jodau'jyaon (Psychology)

The psychology of this subspecies depends on which culture they are raised in. Those who try to integrate into their father's Qaktoro culture will often face an uphill battle for acceptance. For this reason, some Qakla tend go with their maternal heritage.
