The name of the ship, Anoiktos, is 'Light' in Seraphim. The ship was named such as it was, and still is, the light through the lingering darkness of the Elysian Empire. Which goes well with its goal to colonize new planets.
The motto of the Anoiktos is:
“Fugite liber, volare verius, sit sanctus docebit vos alas.” which roughly translates from Seraphim into trade as: Fly free, fly true, may the wings of the holy one guide you.
The YSS Anoiktos was recently commissioned by the Elysian Senate to go out and colonize new worlds with the intent to find a new home for the Elysians to eventually colonize and split off from the Yamataian Empire. The Anoiktos is currently fueling up to take off.
