The second planet from the paired suns in the Euthalia system, called Crucis, was the secondary option for colonization in the system. The only problem was with the toxic atmosphere, which would make life impossible on the surface without breathers. Thus, after beginning the process of colonizing Katoikiapon, the Elysian colonization force also started the process of converting the atmosphere on Crucis to something more breathable.
