Great Southern Nebula

40 Light Years southeast of Yamatai, the Great Southern Nebula's giant reddish-purple mass hides the Jun and Skadi, and formerly Lor. To the West, the nebula continues in a chain-like fashion with the wazu_nebula, and to the East, the Katsuko's Nebula. The area between the Great Southern Nebula and Katsuko's nebula called the “South Gate” in reference to the Bard Cluster.

The Mishhuvurthyar have planted vast fields of anti-starship mines in the Great Southern Nebula's western half.
