Star Army Smokescreen Grenade, Type 30

The Type 30 Signal Smoke hand grenade creates a thick, wide wall of colored smoke. Its purpose is to obscure. It is used by the Star Army of Yamatai.

The grenade is an olive green cylinder with a thick gray band around its side.

It is activated by yanking a loop of string out from the top, which closes an interior electric circuit. These grenades have an estimated lifespan of about 50 years.
