Note On Abwehran Warrant Officers

A Warrant Officer is classified as an Officer designated by a warrant, which is different from the Commissioned Officer's commission and the Non-Commissioned Officer's designation via seniority. Compared to other nations in the galaxy, like the Yamatai Star Empire's Star Army of Yamatai, a Warrant Officer of the Abwehran Armed Forces (AAF) is mainly an individual who's a specialist rather than just an extension of the enlisted ranks.

As a Warrant Officer, an Abwehran is considered a technical leader and/or expert in a certain specialty and is given authority equivalent to a Commissioned Officer. Each branch has a total of two Warrant Officer Ranks and each one has the same title, authority, and pay¹⁾.
