Scientific Studies Service - Pilot

Pilots in the Scientific Studies Service (SSS) generally fall into one of two categories; Non-starship and starship.

Non-starship

This is the classification for all new pilots in the SSS. They are proficient in taking off and landing on planets and space stations. Docking to craft. They are proficient in atmosphereic, STL, FTL navigation and travel. They are proficient in the use of all the systems found in these craft.

They are trained on the following aerospace craft:

Starship

These are typically the senior pilots in the SSS. They are entrusted with the large more important mobile resources. They are proficient in taking off and landing on planets and space stations. Docking to craft. They are proficient in STL and FTL travel.
