Living Property Act

Proposal #8 Living Property Act was created by Dr. Shinichiro Nobumoto in YE 23. Passed unanimously. This law was overturned when slavery was outlawed in YE 30.

1. To ensure children and created beings are properly raised and supported.
2. To provide a method of ownership of organic weapons.

1. Any living being created by a person, corporation, or couple (parental unit), will remain the property of the parental unit for eight years, or until the parental unit releases them.
2. This includes both naturally born and artificial synthesized lifeforms.
3. Non-sentient beings belong to their creators indefinitely.
