6.8 x 43mm NAM

In YE 34, Nepleslian Arms and Munitions designed the 6.8 x 43mm NAM rifle round. The round was first used in an assault rifle called the M2. Later, it was used in the M3 Assault Weapon System.

This ammunition comes in Full Metal Jacket, Jacketed Hollow Point, and Jacketed Soft Point varieties.

• Damage Rating: Tier 2 (Medium Anti-Personnel) Damage Rating (Version 3)
• Effective Range: Point blank to 450 meters (1,476ft)
• Muzzle Velocity: 790 meters per second (2,592 feet per second)
• Muzzle Blast: Loud pop and an amber flash
• Recoil: Recoil is moderate to a typical human and barely felt for a marine in power armor
• Energy Source: Smokeless gunpowder
