Designed for the manufacture, storage, and loading of Lorath solid munitions into ship-integrated weapon systems, the large variant of the magazine room is intended for the handling of the larger varieties of Lorath munitions. Munition warhead varieties handled by the large magazine room range from 90mm to 200mm. Magazine rooms utilize a series of automated loading features, mainly relying upon fast-moving mechanical arms, alternatively, munitions can be manually loaded in the event of auto-loading failure. Munitions are manufactured through the use of a basic energy-to-matter converter system which provides raw materials, including antimatter. Provided materials are then rapidly processed through the use of various automated systems. Magazine rooms are protected by a dual-layer Nerimium and boron-carbide 'box', which also incorporates a layered structure system which functions as a Faraday cage to prevent electromagnetic interference. Additional protection for the magazine room includes exterior and interior gravitic regulation, and conformal EM forcefields. In large applications, some magazine rooms may include their own interdiction generator system to prevent munitions from being inserted into the magazine room through the use of wormhole-like systems.
