Variable Speed Coilgun Gauss weapons work through in-sequence solenoids which generate electromagnetic forces to simultaneously attract and displace a ferromagnetic round, propelling it at tremendous speeds. The firing mechanism of the Linios is designed to allow the user to adjust speeds manually through an analogue dial near the sighting equipment to improve the weapon's flexibility and discretion.

• Damage: No penetrative capacity. On impact, initiates a 4000 N repulsor burst following user-configured geometry with a maximum volume of 8m^3, which can tear limbs apart, hammer torsos into red mist and launch the target dozens of meters. (Tier 4-5)

• Payload Type: Sharpened chitino-plas resinate thread canister.
• Capacity: 23 rounds
• Damage: Low penetration. Canister spins chitinous resins into razor sharp thread and injects it into the target at high velocities, shredding internal structures and mincing tissues into a fine paste. Ineffective against armored targets. (Tier 3, Heavy Anti-Personnel)

• Payload Type: OMDE compound canister, VANDR-scale.
• Capacity: 23 rounds
• Damage: Saturates point of impact with specialized fungal cloud that secretes the OMDE compound in contact with metallic substances. See article for details.
