The resting chair dates back to before the Norka (The Exodus), and is still used by Poku Saeruo Degonjo.
Most members of the Poku Saeruo Degonjo's earliest memories are sitting with their pialoi (mother) in a Buvoli Vakame.
The traditional resting chair is fashioned out of woven wooden fiber, with wood that has natural aromatic properties being highly preferred; fragrances similar to cedar and sandalwood are popular with orthodox Clan members. Some modern chairs are made with synthetic materials instead of wood. Given the preference for some Clan species for unrestrictive clothing because of their fur, they prefer furniture which allows for air flow; thus, most traditional resting chairs are built with 'netting' as the seat and back.
These chairs are built so that they can swivel and rotate around on the base. The occupant can also adjust the orientation of the chair to recline. A release lever is built into the armrest that allows the user to change the orientation of the chair by shifting their weight.
